Repeater control ItemCommand not firing when using the viewstate. I wanted to use a repeater control to display a list of items and then have some action buttons for each item. I encountered a problem with this that I was not able to store the datasource for the repeater in the view state and have my buttons raise the event. It appeared that repeater OnItemCommand was not firing. Setting up a simple repeater as shown below works fine.
