It was our first trekking and pool swimming in Oman in our second day on the way to Nizwa from Muscat. A red sand desert we visited on the third day on the way to Sur. Also known as Wadi Ghul, or the Grand Canyon of Arab, is a rough and adventurous route to the bottom of Jebel Sham, the highest peak of Oman.

Day 5, our last day, we had to cover the path we took on Day 1 and Day 2 straight in one day. So as usual, we started to walk about 7 in the morning. I think Day 5 was the hardest day. We had to do the long climbing up way which felt endless. We took a short rest in Day 1 camp, where our guide provided watermelon and biscuits. What a nice and memorable trekking!
