Monday, April 20, 2015. After almost a year I am going to resurrect this blog to write the birth story of our second baby! He is a month old now, and I am scared that the details will slip away if I wait any longer on this. My due date! And of course, that night I went into labor.

Sunday, October 5, 2014. Emerging from the postpartum shadows. It was all choked up in my throat and my heart kept pounding but. as Jordan Sparks would say, no air. Rhenner? I thought he would be just. And funny thing! A friend of mine told me that it really looked.

A happy family, is but an earlier Heaven. Thursday, January 1, 2015. He is a wild and crazy little guy. Aggressive, a climber, a goody thief, and a professional mess maker. He is affectionate, observant, and playful. He is enthusiastic, mischievous, and still innocent. He loves animals and babies. He is my little Jakey. He is still addicted to the binkey.

I shared yesterday our menu for the month. Remember that it is our no spend month so these meals are cheap and easy. Some of them are free for us because they are things that are made out of what we always have on hand in our food storage. 3-4 large potatoes, sliced into wedges.

Monday, August 17, 2015. As every first time mom, I worry. I worry about when my kid is supposed. To be potty trained, supposed. To be out of a crib, supposed. To still nap, supposed. To go to bed at night, supposed. Alice basically always goes with the flow. Letting Scar run loose at Build-A-Bear. On a happier, more selfish note, I feel as though I my mom-hood and Natalie-ness have found common ground.
