Sunday, 27 May 2012. Plot 144 - The End! This is a very sad blog post to have to write. Due to my move to Dorset soon, my plot, sadly has to go and I have already given written notice to the council, that it will be available from June 7th. I have been visiting the site most mornings, at around 6am for an hour each time, to clear the Shed and the Greenhouse, which are both now sold to a fellow allotmenteer who has a plot at the other end of the site. Sorry there are no pictures .

Patty pans, pepinos, gai lan, raf tomatoes, mild white onions and blue and shiro shimeji muhrooms. Beef pinwheels from the butchery. And left the place with the sort of enthusiasm normally reserved for a farmers market, but wit.

I decided to check and weed through the main flower patch where I mostly grow the annual pot marigolds. Poached egg plants and collomia grandiflora. Most of these seedlings I will pull up and add to the compost heap as I only want about twenty plants and room for other flowers. It was National Puppy Day. On Friday which was apt as I met Billy, a lovely six month old.
