John M. Naegle. Thursday, November 17, 2011. Letter to John 5. We were married 27 years ago today in Faith Chapel on Jekyll Island. It seems like a lifetime ago. I am on St. Simons now. I am here alone for 8 days or so. The kids will join me next week for Thanksgiving. I went back to the anniversary post on the blog from last year. You were doing very well and soon to be released from the hospital. This is what I wrote. And while you are no longer here and I deeply miss you, I will be eternally gratefu.CONTENT

Monday, August 2, 2010. This is what our kids are really into right now. Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Just started rice cereal and applesauce last week and is eating like a pro.
Year two in my vegetable garden is starting with cool weather crops. The abundant rain we have had along with mild temperatures has encouraged my leafy vegetables and root crops to get rolling. Yesterday I thinned the radishes, snow peas and early corn plants. Two kinds of potatoes, red and gold, have come up, and are looking very healthy. Parsley attracts beneficial insects and repels harmful ones.
