Monday, August 8, 2011. This weekend we took our first long trip to visit daddy. We went through Times Square and walked what felt like the entire city over the course of 3 days. Lucy wore her Pentwater hat given to her by Great Grandma Schrumpf to help block the sun. She loved it! The sights and sounds were pretty stimulating - so when she slept, she crashed pretty hard! Thursday, May 3, 2012. Whoever knew that turnips grew into such beautiful flowers. We planted these turnips last fall, and with the mild winter they did not die off and they kept growing. I love looking out our windows and seeing fields of flowers. Deer food plots turned into a bees dream. The worker bees are busy at these flowers. Fiends and family are welcome to check out it out. When I come into your room in the morning, you give me the biggest smile like it is the first time you have seen me in weeks. You LOVE sucking on your hands and your fingers. Pierson loved Halloween this year! Andy and I try to give him a non-candy bucket of goodies. I usually just go to the dollar store or hit up the Target dollar spot. Sunday, June 22, 2014. FirstLast day of Kindergarten. Months 5, 6, and 7. Emerson giggled for the first time around 10 weeks old. Here is the first real giggle we were able to capture on video. Monday, March 17, 2014. Emerson gave us her first smile at about 5 weeks old. At first I didnt think it was an intentional smile. However, she continued to smile each time I tickled her belly and talked silly, so we knew it was a real smile. At about 8ish weeks she started to giggle quite a bit, so much fun!CONTENT
