Saturday, December 12, 2009. Last spring I considered my niche to be about Chicano culture. I thought I could write about my everyday experiences as a Chicana, both the positive and negatives experiences. Well this semester the idea of specific content writing came again and well I am using the same topic. My blog last semester was titled, Chicana Confessions. The first one is Mi Blog es Tu Blog.

Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Whoot Whoot, I am out of here! I thank God for allowing me to learn so much. I feel so comfortable with journalism. What is more exciting is that this is what I learned in one single class. I have felt more of a well rounded student now. Thanks for all the help to everyone who has helped me in the way. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. What The Banner Has Taught Me. Since I became involved with the photography staff on the Banner, I have become more aware of how important a photograph is to a newspaper story and what it contributes to it. I have learned how better to tell a story with a single or few photos and how it is vital that the reader understand what the article is talking about solely by looking at the photo.
