Friday, August 26, 2011. This is about a cedar waxwing fledgling I had for 3 days. I have made it into a story for kids to teach them about baby bird issues they may come across. Dette forsøg var det eneste der mislykkedes, hvilket nok skyldes den manglende varmekasse. Istedet ville jeg nu prøve at lave tykmælk som også skulle stå varmt. Derfor valgte jeg at pakke bøtten ind med det varme mælk ind i avispapir og uldtæppe, og derefter på radiatoren. Disse har også været et hit! De er nemme og hu.

Som mit udfordringsprojekt har jeg valgt filtning, jeg har aldrig prøvet at filte før og det var først da jeg havde lånt en del materiale på biblioteket at det gik op for mig hvor mange teknikker, uldgarner, materialer og muligheder der egentlig var med filtning. For at holde projektet på et overskueligt plan, valgte jeg at købe noget nålefilt som jeg ville arbejde ud fra.
