This week in class! Informal Essays and Language. Welcome to ENG3UI with Ms. Reading literature from other countries and cultures not only enriches our lives, but it can enrich the world around us. Reading literature from other countries and cultures can teach us to read differently - that is, to read in an especially receptive way, responding to cultural and linguistic qualities in novels, plays, poems and essays and relating them to what we know about their country of origin.

Friday, 13 June 2014. If I could ask Chimamanda Ngoziadichie any question I would ask her how this novel relates to her own life. Did she experience or witness abuse that made her want to write this novel? This novel only really taught me one thing and that was the comparisons between religions and the similarities and differences. This novel also included different aspects of religion by different characters in the book that allowed me to see different point of views.
