And also for seven days we have visited so many places, and even spent Shabbat.
Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Tuesday August 18, 2009. On Tuesday we traveled from Konotop to Sumy. In Sumy we went to a JDC sponsored family camp. The camp was filled with adorable little kids running around a colorful playground. After dinner we gathered in the cafeteria with the Jewish families and our Ukrainian peers.

Monday, August 10, 2009. Getting our Hands Dirty by Jacob. Trip has been amazing so far in every aspect. Signing off now for dinner and bowling with the Ukrainians, should be fun. It really is a great feeling to come to such a foreign place and still hear the same Jewish songs I learned growing up, and to know that I am not so different from my peers here.
