When My Feet Go Through the Door. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. I picked up a bottle of this after seeing a label for it posted by Ron at Shut Up About Barclay Perkins. According to the back of the bottle, Manchester Star Ale is brewed in collaboration with the Brooklyn Brewery in New York to a recipe from 1884. I suspect it might have been one in a range of milds, and maybe not even the strongest. Friday, 24 July 2015.

Drinking beer here, there and everywhere. Thornbridge Brewery and Buxton Tap House. Only just over an hour away from Manchester, Buxton is in the heart of the Peak District and surrounded by hills and rolling countryside. And is very close to Thornbridge Brewery. In nearby Bakewell, which is why we decided to spend a weekend in the town. Were on keg during our visit and Sequoia was on cask.
