Saturday, August 7, 2010. What a crazy, great thirty hours my trip to Jacmel was. Hands on typically has a half day every other Saturday so volunteers can rest up and potentially travel to see other parts of Haiti. Last Saturday myself and a group of seven other volunteers set out for a seat of the pants trip to Jacmel. Nobody stopped for about half an h.

Chicken baked cheesy rice recipe by Stephanie. I call this a chicken baked cheesy rice. Tasted it a few times when my sister made it but never did it myself. Decided today that I have to use up the pieces of chicken breast which I got from a bargain at Waitrose and the idea of a baked rice spring into my mind.
