About a month ago Laurel invited us to glean a few pear trees at her neighbors house. I have finally finished with them! Pear fruit leather, pear sauce, spiced pears and lots of pear jam. Before we went we learned a little bit about what the Oktoberfest is.

Thursday, August 22, 2013. Port Royal- Adams, TN. This past Sunday we decided to go on a short drive and visit a local state park. It is called Port Royal, and although pretty is less than exciting.
