Friday, July 19, 2013. It was the first time Derek and Lizzy had ever been to the temple. Jacob and Derek loved the little exhibits with the life size characters of the prophets. I know most of Temple Square is for older kids so I was proud of them listing to our stories and enjoying the sights. I know we are lucky to live near so many temples. Finally we were off to Normandy. We first stopped by the recreational part of the beach where the kids could play a little. We shrugged it off and went on our way. Do we want to eat in downtown Munich which will cost a fortune, do restaurants allow families with six kids in? This trip was a little disappointin.

Sunday, January 4, 2015. Family Hike to Pleasant Grove Waterfall. We love to take our kids hiking and we try to only let them ride on our backs occasionally. Amelia found the perfect seat to rest on. Finding a good hiking stick always helps too. And the best hikes for us include streams to throw rocks in. Occasionally, we have magical moments like this. Butterfly butterfly, fly so high.
