Thursday, January 10, 2013. Both kids had conked out in the car shortly after getting buckled in, and they transferred to their beds wonderfully. We spent the last hour of 2012 joining our Oki Neighbors on the hill around the fire pit where we chatted some more and enjoyed the heat from dead Christmas trees going up in flames. At midnight, we watched fireworks set off at Sunset Beach. Sunday, January 6, 2013. We woke up Christmas morning to Sydney coming in our roo.

Monday, May 19, 2014. I have been reading from the Old Testament each morning. I should be done by the end of the year and maybe sooner. Anyway, I have been reminded how mindful the Lord is of covenants we have made with Him and the blessings he has for us if we will just REMEMBER those covenants. The Things in Life That Make Us Smile. Sunday, November 16, 2014. During our final week in Okinawa, we had a list of several things we wanted to do one last time. For the kids, going to eat udon at Marugame was at the top of the list. We all went to Thailand together, then bonded more as we each had babies within just a few months of each other over the next year. Syd had her last day at Kuwae preschool. She had to miss her final graduation since that was the day we were flying out.
It was a long day of driving involving my very first Monster drink and many car movies! I am do glad we were following my parents! Thursday, October 27. She was really good at bouncing them on her head. Bryn was a little afraid of the balloons at first but got the hang of it! Ally and Kirsten getting acquainted.
