The adventure begins in San Francisco with a 4 day combined conference. 48 teachers from Japan and 48 teachers from the US joined together to talk about sustainability work in our schools and to hear incredible speakers. The 48 teachers from Japan had previously spent some time together in Washington DC, and then had been split into 3 groups each going to a different city; Albuquerque, Burlington, and Milwaukee. Japan Ski Trip to Hakuba Nagano. We woke up relatively late this morning as the whole day walking around and shopping took a beating on our feet! Lisa at the Front of the Green Place restaurant. We eventually found a small sign in this place that looked like an office building, where we took the lift up to the fifth level to find ourselves in a restaurant that sold a mixture of everything.
