De schoenen die vrouwen op Urk en ook in andere plekken rond het ijsselmeer droegen, waren muilen. En wat zag ik op de website van Zara. Dit zijn de muilen van mezelf. Dit is even een blogje tussendoor omdat ik de platte leren slipper van Zara tegen kwam.

There is nothing better to help me get thru the winter than having a quilt top to hand quilt. Today, I will work on hand stitching the binding down. That final step in finishing a quilt. Quilting, stitchery and mandala drawing. Atelier is open en op deze weblog. Gaan geen berichten meer geplaatst worden. Het is een geslaagde dag geweest, met al lekker veel bezoekers. Wil je een keer het atlier komen bezoeken, het is geopend van dinsdag tot en met zaterdag van 10. Ik hoop je daar weer snel te ontmoeten. En nog allemaal bedankt voor de bezoekjes aan dit weblog.
Voorjaar waar blijf je? Het zonnetje schijnt, maar het is nog zoooo koud! Wat verlangen we naar voorjaar! Weg met al het grijs en kom maar op met de prachtige kleuren! De narcissen staan op tafel en ik heb zelf nog even wat mooie bloemen gemaakt die geen last hebben van de kou! Allemaal een fijn weekend! Zaterdag 3 november 2012. Ik haak nog even gezellig door, lekker bij de kachel met thee en chocola! Zondag 14 oktober 2012. Kennen jullie dat al? .
Dit is het eindproduct van mijn gesponnen, geverfde en geweven wol. Het patroon heb ik zelf gemaakt en het zit perfect! Heerlijk zacht en soepel. Uiteraard moet er een andere broek onder, want dit is mijn makkelijke huisbroek, maar dat komt helemaal goed. Ben nu aan mijn tweede begonnen. Helaas zijn de kleuren op de foto iets te flets, maar de eerste lap is klaar.

A Day In The Life Of Jane Stokes. The Hospice minister Andrew visited mother this afternoon. She has been assigned for Tuesday and Thursday for two hours. Andrew spent about 45 minutes with mother. He said mother was most at rest when he played church music. Perhaps I could do the same during the week and see what happens.
