Wednesday, August 19, 2015. It was quite a long process but well worth it because our calendar art looks amazing! The children feel really proud of their cows and cant wait for you to see them. As part of our Matariki celebration, Room 5 constructed kites so we could join together with other classes across the school to fly them. Monday, July 27, 2015. As you know the students of Kahikatea will be travelling by bus to the Selwyn Aquatic Centre on Wednesdays in term 3 to partake in swimming lessons. At the first session the children will be placed in small groups according to swimming abilities by the trained swimming instructors. Each week the swimming lessons will be for 25 minutes in the pool with a qualified swimming instructor.
