Well not content with that I really went fruit loop and made three more! They all use the same thin dark cream DL cards which have been knocking round for a while in the cobwebby regions of the craft room and the Hello Gorgeous set from Penny Black. Well as always thanks for looking. Thursday, 28 June 2012. Week 73 Less Is More. So here is my attempt.

dorries doodles doodling around with crafts

Hello, I am back! Posted in Mixed Media. I have had a very quite crafting time for the past few months. I in the autumn I went to a quilting class locally and had fun, so I made a quilt on my own using the same method as I had learnt. All made from fabric that I had in my stash! I do like the strip method, but I suppose I should try something else. This week on Woodware Witterings.

I sprayed the whole image and background then went in with a water brush to smooth out the colour within the letters. Saturday, September 19, 2015.

Saturday, October 21, 2017. Sometimes things need to change. The first image was derived from thoughts on the Efficient Frontier, a reference to finance calculations and the Golden Mean. It played with balance and scale. It allowed me to build still life on the canvas. Instead of carefully staging all the elements on a table.
