Monday, April 8, 2013. North Carolina was absolutely GORGEOUS, especially during the Spring when all of the flowers and trees were starting to bloom. We did go to a cute little Farmers Market one of the days. ALL woods, this is my dream backyard in case any of you were wondering. Where the Civil War took place. After UNC we headed to Duke University in Durham, NC.
Friday, July 10, 2015. Happy 6th Birthday to Arlo and Josiah! On June 9, Arlo and Josiah turned 6 years old and boy, did we celebrate! When school was released for the summer, we hopped in the van, drove across the country and arrived in Virginia the day before the big celebration! Sunday, October 5, 2014. May was a big month for us. We are so happy for them and their choice to serve. Both Nathan and I served missions and feel so grateful for the experiences that we had. Michele will have been going to the new school for about 2 weeks and Grant will have been going to kindergarten for about 1 week by the time we move in. Friday, April 26, 2013. A testimony of a smile. I feel compelled to write this memory down so that one day I will read back and remember how our happiness can affect those around us. As we all began to stare at the cake, a worker noticed and told us that if we could guess how much the cake weighed he would give us a free cupcake. Thursday, April 10, 2014. Snow, Snow and More Snow! Spring where are you? This has been the LONGEST winter ever! Our last snow storm was on March 31st and I am sincerely hoping that was the last blast of winter! The temps are still cold but I think we are slowly getting closer to spring. Here are some pictures of us playing in the snow when we were still excited about it, haha. We went sledding with our downstairs neighbor and her son. So with this brutal winter, we have spent A LOT of time inside.
