There was plenty of work for Stuart and Michelle, to get everything unpacked and the house sorted out before they had to go back to work in the New Year. And of course Jan and I were only too happy to be able to baby sit with Jack. 28 Dec 2007 - Jacks New Bike. 25 Dec 2007 - Christmas at Rothbury.

Monday, 3 January 2011. 24-31 Dec 2010 - Christmas at Rothbury. The snow came early to Rothbury this year, in November we had heard on the BBC news of the disruption it has caused in and around the town. But we were not prepared for just how bad it was. Wednesday found us in the park again.
Jan and Paul in Spain 2011. Wednesday, 4 January 2012. Once more we spent Christmas and New Year at Rothbury. No snow this year, in fact most days were bright and sunny. Christmas morning started early with present opening. Jack, of course, got the lions share of presents. Closely followed by Georgia, who also had a large pile of presents. However she really preferred tearing off the wrapping paper and making the sitting room as untidy as possible. It was not long bef.
Saturday, May 19, 2012. Battle of Waterloo - Move 11. Table at the start of move 11. French infantry converge on Hougoumont. French have won firefight and routed Dutch infantry far left. French have routed British on ridge. British have retreated to cross roads.
Jan and Paul in Spain 2009. Monday, January 4, 2010. December 2009 - Christmas in UK. The day before we returned to. For Christmas and New Year we woke to find snow on the hills opposite the house. The last time we saw this view was six years ago, so such views have a novelty value. We were disappointed that our son, who lives in Rothbury, a small town north of. Was particularly unimpressed when we sent him a copy of these photographs.
Jan and Paul in Spain 2008. Friday, July 31, 2009. December 2008 - Christmas in Rothbury. Thursday, July 30, 2009. 13 Dec 2008 - Denia to Javea. We have not done this walk for a long time. Its along the Denia promonade, then climb to the Tower, cross to the Windmills overlooking Javea and stop for lunch. Then back again to the car. Lovely day and a lovely walk. 15 Dec 2008 - Lleus to Olta.
Jan and Paul move to Spain. Monday, May 25, 2009. First Wargame in Spain - May 2006. By early May 2006 the soldiers were unpacked, sorted out and put on the new shelves. The scenery squares were completed and painted, and we were ready for our first game. This was to be the first of many happy hours spent in our favourite room of the new house. Sunday, May 24, 2009. Wargames Room - April 2006. The shelves were carefully planned to ensure that there was sufficient space for all.

Tuesday, 6 January 2015. Christmas at Rothbury - December 2014. Once again Christmas was spent with our family in Rothbury. Unfortunately I failed to notice that my camera was not set to automatic. I took about 150 photos, but all of them were out of focus. I have used the best for this blog.
