Amazing Things That Relate to The Cajon. This instrument was originally used by slaved musicians in Peru; but, most Spanish colonies are using it too. The whole history about this instrument is not yet known; but, there are 2 theories which are backed up by proofs that could provide clues regarding where it came from. As stated in the first hypothesis, the Cajon drum was basically created in the seaside. Right now, countless artists use this musical instrument in their original composit.

Poet and vocalist Jamila Woods was raised in Chicago, IL and graduated from Brown University, where she earned a BA in Africana Studies and Theatre and Performance Studies.
