Posted by Captdhd in 52 DC Challenge. All I have done since March has been to work. Exercise has included not much more then to walk or carry a golf bag. Not quite the same as pressing it at the gym.
Blogging to hold myself accountable on my journey. I really wanted to bake some Zucchini cookies, especially since I have an abundance of zucchini. I pulled up and old recipe and was shocked at how bad it was. No wonder the hubby loved them. Trying to convert this recipe to healthy is beyond my scope of knowledge. With a little googling and taking some chances, here are my conversions.
Time to Kick It Into Gear. Well, the new 52 DC starts tomorrow. I ended up with over 3 miles and had burned over 500 calories! The starting line awaits and I am ready! .
The starting stats on this phase of my personal workout challenge are in. Starting weight is 233 lbs. Goal is to lose 1-2 lbs per week. Objective is 180 lbs, eventually. Let the games begin! Links to this post. Cardio will be three times per week - 20-30 .

Just a quick post because I have to get back to the gym for a double and into work. I made it through my training, graduated and have been on the trucks for about 6 weeks now. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have gotten the best job in the world. I am really pumped to be getting back to a 52DC as it has been a while and I have figured out that I am the type of person who needs goals to function properly.
