Monday, October 15, 2012. Through telling our story, I have had others reach out to me who have experienced some of the same loss and same heartache. That gives me an opportunity for ministry I would not have had if I had kept it a secret. Telling has allowed me to give praise to God for His work in my life even in the most painful thing I have ever experienced.

Being a mom has been central to my life for over 20 years. I have always cherished this role, but it took on a whole new dimension when my 18-year-old son was killed in a car accident Sept 24,2006.
