Well my little bulbs took root and grew over the course of the year, but there was no sign of any flowers until one morning a few weeks ago when I went to let Toby out in the morning and discovered this. A few days ago, a second bud appeared on one of the other plants. This one appeared tinged in purple, so again I was expecting the usual purple bloom with a yellow center. Friday, July 17, 2015. Ohio - July, 2015. We spent the 4th of July weekend visiting Ohio. Grandpa Brusven bought another Kettcar to go with the one he already had from when Cousin Jordan was growing up. Lots of playing with cars, baseball, catching fireflies, and driving the Kettcars. On a whim, we decided to head downtown this weekend to ride the monorail. I think waiting to ride it with the kiddos was the thing to do.
