Monday, March 7, 2011. After getting out and in of New York between snow storms to visit Germany for Christmas I went into hibernation for the winter. He chose all kinds of fun stuff. First we went to Target to get the perfect backpack. Then, we went to the Thinkery. He loved the air tunnel. After the Thinkery, we went to Dave and Busters. He took winning tickets very seriously! I loved the day, just me and my boy.

Thursday, March 19, 2015. As I retire to bed after a long day of endless fun, I find myself exhausted. Exhausted with heartfelt laughter and etching smiles. I may not have laughed hard or for very long. But my smiles were genuine. As my body falls heavier and heavier into the suffocating Tempur-pedic bed, pain increases as I recognize the sharp pain, digging into my lower back, as a small toy car. I have everything I need.
