In our terrarium we got to put insects inside them and we got to do a lot of creative things with our terrariums. The way we made our terrariums is that we got a bucket, soil, seeds, insects, and water to plant them. So, I just explained what we really did with our Terrariums and I thought it was really fun looking at all the cool Terrariums. Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Monday, May 18, 2009. We also tested environmental factors. An environmental factor is something in the environment that affects something like animals or plants. We had tested water tolerance or how much water the plants need. We found that if you keep the environment dry, the plants will not grow, but if you put in 40-80 mL. Of water in it will grow really well. We had also put animals in our terrarium. Like to have wet soil and be in the dark.

We had to go and get materials the materials were a plastic container, seeds, and soil we put the soil in first then decided where the plants would go. Then we planted the seeds. You make a terrarium by get a big container the you get soil in a cup and pour it into the container and then you get some seeds and plant them then we watered the plants! The plant that grew the worst was the barley! It barley even grew. Some enviormental factors that were in our terrarium were grass, soil, water, and animals! The terrarium was very moist and dirty! Now that we have planted all the plants now that big plant that you see comming out of the terrarium is the corn the corn grew pretty big.
