I spent the last 3 days in the capital city of Latvia - Riga, and have enjoyed my time so much here that I thought it was a good excuse to start blogging again! Its no wonder in that case that, when the Nazis invaded in 1942, they were greeted as liberators! Even though Latvia is on the Euro, things are pretty cheap here. I had a 60 minute massage in my hotel that only cost 40 Euro! In the states or Western Europe it would be 2x that price! Latvia.
