I wanna be an indie film star. Written in August 2011 while camping in Humboldt. I sit here by the banks of the eel river. Where I sat a decade ago, and a decade before that. The last time I looked up at these trees. And saw the sun sparkle through on its way down beyond the horizon. And listened to the endless trickle.
