Thursday, March 17, 2011. OK, so I am literally a fair weather friend to my blog. My blogging picks up every spring and dies every fall. onwards and upwards, right? I am teaching a workshop this Sunday at The West Seattle Fabric Company. In which we will be creating bunny skirts for little girls. Sunday, January 01, 2012. Hello to the New Year. My husband and I had our fist baby in 2011 and I have been focused on the little guy ever since. I am slowly getting back into cooking and I am working toward trying new recipes once again. We have a little family blog. Feel free to check it out. Last night I made Roast Chicken.

Four generations of women connected through one quilt. I was speechless and brought to tears as I ran my hands over the hand-pieced and hand-quilted squares. I have never seen a quilt as beautiful, and could tell it was an unfinished labor of love. Immediately I knew I needed to finish this quilt and give it to a very special woman in my life, my mother-in-law, Susan. A finished quilt, four generations later. And it coordinated perfectly! I soo.
