Friday, 14 August 2015. THE GARDA helicopter circled in the sky above the beach. The woman looked up and then out to where the helicopter seemed to be hovering. Within minutes, a sizeable crowd had gathered on the nature reserve overlooking the beach.

Life, Love, and Leberkäse. The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. I am so incredibly spoiled. I had the very best birthday of my life on Friday, and I felt so loved, that I am still sort of bubbling over about it.
