2005 I left my spouse, my career, my home in Atlanta and a life I39;d had since 1983. I signed divorce papers and fled to the Gulf Coast my beloved old stomping grounds to sit under ancient oaks and heal. Eleven days later Hurricane Katrina destroyed South Mississippi.
