Monday, August 11, 2008. After 11 Weeks Abroad. Im finally home and completely jetlagged. Its 4.30 am in LA and Im wide-awake. I dont know what to do with myself. Saturday, August 16, 2008. My last week in Beijing, though, did provide for some last minute sight-seeing. The typical procrastinator, I had left much of the touring for the last two weeks of my stay, so that final week I made it a priority to see much of what NBC has been using as its token panoramas during the Olympic coverage as Bob Costas cues for a commercial break. Although speaking with your friends from class will give you amazing practice, they are second language learners just like you and will not be able to correct you like a Korean friend can.
