Well, my favorite tools are skype, image generators, comment and create a blog. The first tool I will use in my classroom are the conferences through skype with different professionals and children while we study our topic of jobs in the community. Making good use of this tools will make my teaching more atractive and interactive for my K students.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Here is the IMovie I created on my new MacBook. IMovie is super user friendly and was great to use. I know that this is a tool that students can use with ease, I cant wait to see that they can create. Sunday, July 11, 2010. I enjoy re-familiarizing myself with the tools. Working through them this time I really focused on how I can use them with teachers in my teaching. I think the 2 aspects that I will use the most are blogs and wikis. Monday, August 2, 2010. Digital story was an interesting tool since I always wondered how people did it to hang educational videos in youtube and other websites. It was kind of frustrational the part where I had to hang the video up in my blog since it took me several days to be done, but I learned from this experience that sometimes the blogs get busy but there is always help to ask for. Once I had the pictures it was easy to create the video with the music I had already in my computer.
Sunday, June 27, 2010. I had no idea that this course was going to be so intense yet so interesting. This way my students and I can share some lessons and culture with others that they would not have had the chance to meet otherwise. I am looking forward to next year.

As one who has not had much time for surfing the net, I was blown away by the amount of material, good and bad, that is available. I loved exploring all the sites and applications. The Google Reader will be very handy. To teach these digital citizenship points, I would model for my stude.
