Thursday, October 13, 2011. It is two days before my Adventure Race. Almost everyone has the same question for me when I tell them I am doing this race. 8220;Why in the world would you do that? I have asked myself that question many times in this year-long process. It started a few years ago when I felt like my life was falling apart. My husband was very sick. I was overweight and tired all the time.

Our Little Corner of the World. Here ya go, Suz. Since I only really do a blog post once or twice a year , Suz reminded me that I needed to post a new one. So I am. We have adopted a new puppy named Lily! We still have the dream of adopting children but right now our situation is too unstable to be eligible as adoptive parents. Through the life of Zachary David Reiger. At a ten week ultrasound in November of 2007, our baby was diagnosed with an untreatable and fatal condition. Twenty nine weeks later, on June 16th, 2008, our son, Zachary David Reiger, was born. He passed away 13 hours later, on June 17th.
