Monday, 29 August 2016. Friday morning dawned bright and breezy and a stroll up to Porth Hellick provided nice views of a selection of waders on the Higher Moors. The pick of the bunch were 2 stunning Wood Sandpipers. A trek up to the Garrison in the afternoon was made worthwhile by a fairly obliging Icterine Warbler. Had me running and clambering like a man on a mission to the back of the boat.
