27th months in Ghana, Africa as told by a Peace Corps Volunteer. Saturday, April 9, 2011. This picture may not mean a lot to you, but it means a heck of a lot to me. My hands down biggest project that I did in Ghana as a Peace Corps volunteer was to organize and run a week-long leadership camp for about 30 girls from over 5 communities.
Thursday, September 16, 2010. The birds will have to wait. I am going to be an adult and start teaching middle school Earth and Space and Integrated Sciences at a local middle school. And right in the midst of fall migration too. Friday, September 10, 2010. Yesterday, after a report of a female CERULEAN WARBLER at A. Barnes Park, I headed over and had luck finding this inconspicuous warbler. Migration is in full effect. Friday, September 3, 2010.

Last week was my groups COS conference, during which time we could choose a date to finish our service at our sites. So far, two out of the 24 people in my group decided to stay another year, while most of us signed up to leave during the month of August.
