But, the trick was getting there from Marmarth. John Hanson told me that this field had at least 3 species of sage growing in it along with the grasses they baled for hay. That puts the number of newly acquired puppies up to 4 since the beginning of the ride.

This is my fur vest that was donated by the Arizona Trappers Association. The convention was a blast! People were very eager to help out with the raffle, especially with the aid of the adorable Kylie, who helped me sell the tickets! By the end of the day, I was reluctant to leave this group of people. We had just met, but I felt like I had been attending their convention for years.
