Sunday, January 28, 2018. This summer my grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that had metastasized. Just make her as comfortable as possible. I was extremely close to my grandma. She was like a second mom to me. My mom is great, I just got the best of both! She came to help me with 3 of my 4 newborn babies.

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. When I was pregnant with Leah, it really took a long time for the reality of it to set in. I mean, here was this precious, amazing miracle growing inside of me, something we had longed for, prayed for, cried over. What if something happened? The very thought of loving and being crushed seemed overwhelming to me.
