A small mixed flock of Redwings. Were in Poultry Field and a Sparrowhawk. Were seen in the sector. BW delivered a couple of quality sightings today with an adult Mediterranean Gull. Flew over and singles of Kestrel. Was feeding nearby, a Mistle Thrush. Sang from near Aberdour School and a Kestrel.
Saturday, 5 May 2012. Yesterday a trip of 15 DOTTERELS. Pitched down in Heathside Field at Canons Farm - the first for the local area and the first for Surrey since 1884 this was a true local MEGA and these birds were truly jaw-dropping.
