Saturday, September 6, 2014. Our last stop for the summer was in Utah. We got to spend a day with our good friends the Beatties and Ramsdens. We saw a cool rainbow while traveling home from Utah. Logan earns his First Class in Scouts. We love their teachers so far. Logan has his first Band Concert of the year. There are a ton of freshman this year. Logan made top band which is fantastic for a Freshman.
Anne, Abbey, Olivia, Jane and Max. Monday, February 21, 2011. A winter trip to the zoo. We read in the paper that during the winter months. Was the best time to go to the zoo. Because a lot of animals are more active, particularly the tigers. Since we had the day off, and we have a zoo pass,. We decided this was the perfect day to see if they were right. While we were there, the tigers were quite active. This one laid down and stretched. We saw a white wolf.

The Umbrian region is famous for black truffles and for olive oil, so I let her know that I wanted to learn how to select a good olive oil, and I wanted to taste really good truffles. The mini fig and chocolate crostata. The three types of rolls we made. The eggplant rolls with cherry tomatoes, ricotta, and arugula. The pasta carbonara with artichoke hearts. Sunday, June 10, 2012. The girls and I went to a Charity Ball that my sister, Heather puts on. So we got all dolled up, did our hair fancy and pretended that we were Cinderella. The girls were so hyper and excited! We stayed out until midnight, almost turning into pumpkins. For Memorial Day I decided to run a 10k race.
