Friday, March 23, 2018. I worked on the last two pieces of the Kindred Spirits class project. I stitched the Scissor Case yesterday, I hate rouching, hate it with the kind of ribbon that was in the kit, I did get it done not exactly my best work but it looks okay. I finished the back of the ruler case and stitched the back to the front, I have ordered the ruler and two thread keepers from Ellen Chester of With My Needle, I hope they come soon.

Friday, March 03, 2017. Next are a couple of cross stitch pieces that I made into cute zipper pouches with bright red zippers. I finished them off with metal zipper tags with the Canadian maple leaf. These pouches are being used as project bags. So my finishing pile is down by three! Now, onto my sewing projects.

We grow older and wiser, we begin to realize what we need and what we need to leave behind. Sometimes walking away is a step forward. It is time for me to move on. Step away from my walking blog.
