Sunday, August 25, 2013. It is that time of year again. summer is coming to an end and I am somewhat excited and somewhat bummed out. I love the wake up when I want to, clean when I want to, shop when I want to lazy days of summer! But, I am also excited to get another school year under way and meet my new batch of students.

STRATEGIES LAB - At my school once a month we get to take our kids over to the strategies lab. Basically this is game time for 45 minutes. BUT the games and activities that they do are all about critical thinking and higher level thinking. I believe that most games are made by Think Fun Jr.

Sunday, July 31, 2016. Colorful Organization and Cleaning Caddies. Hi - I can not believe how long it has been since I blogged last! Well leave it to Tara at 4th Grade Frolics. To motivate me to post to her awesome Made It Monday linky! My first project was to transform my old yucky black in boxes! Honestly, when I packed up my classroom at the end of the year I was going to throw them out and go purchase new white ones from Staples! So I cleaned them off and got to work spray painting them! She is lucky.

Monday, August 15, 2016. School has already been in session for 2 weeks, but the last month or so has been a whirlwind of activity. Summer was short and sweet this year. About 2 weeks before school started, this was the situation in my classroom.
