Wednesday, October 14, 2009. It has been almost a year since my last blog so I thought I would bring you into my life a little bit. I visited the site of two other Peace Corps Volunteers. Were invited to facilitate a teacher training for about 200 teachers from the surrounding public and private secondary schools. The more, the merrier- right? After one week of preparing and one full day of presenting we were all tired and ready for a day of relaxation.
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Yep I got me some. Particularly when it comes to writing. I fret and fret before anything ever gets on a page- and consequently- NOTHING gets on a page. I wrote my dissertation in about the same length of time. There were days that I wrote while releasing a sustained guttural moaning- every exhalation carried the sound of my fears and anxiety. I guess this blog functions in that manner.
