Our Haitian adoption journey and everyday Woodward life. On Thursday, August 8th 2013, we cut an annual vacation with friends short and boarded an early plane to get to Haiti. To bring our daughter home! Nine trips to Haiti, one trip home. We took our usual route through Dallas-Fort Worth to Fort Lauderdale to Port-au-Prince. In Fort Lauderdale, we were fortunate to meet up with Eric Ream. We only spent a short time at the orphanage. Is still on the adoption journe.
