I woke up long before my watch beeped and feeling well rested and eager I decided that I might as well break camp and head for the trail head. There was no stopping me even tough I started about two hours before the sun came up. Goats enjoying the fresh sunlight with me.

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Samammish River Trail 830. Today was my final day of hiking and, as mentioned in the post below, I stayed close to home and did my miles on the Samammish. River Trail in Redmond. I didnt get out on the trail on Saturday, so I had to do all my miles today. I was able to do 12 miles before my feet got sore and my rumbling stomach compelled me to put an end to it. This means Ill fall short of my goal by about 3 miles, but Im ok. Take it out on an urban trail some rainy day after.CONTENT
