The posts get more and more lame. My mother just had knee replacement surgery, so the childcare situation is a little crazy at the moment. The text updates today have been priceless.

Last year, on my 30th birthday, I discovered that I was pregnant after my first IVF cycle. My first appointment with the OB was three days later. We went in armed with a page-long list of questions to ask, all of which were answered, thank goodness. They did a blood test, a urine test, and an ultrasound, all of which were normal. I mentioned this on Twitter and Instagram late last week, but I should record it here and add the details for posteri.
2 Dykes went to Asia, renovated their house, had a baby and other random stuff. Lots of work has gone into getting these freaking tickers to update properly. We are working on streamlining code and the updating process on the new server before we move everything over. Parks and Rec on the TV machine.
Tomorrow I leave for New Orleans to visit my good friend Jen.
