A notch filter for phase noise measurment. When doing these measurements, reducing the noise figure of the spectrum analyzer, and knowing the inserted gain is important. I use a module with a ERA-2 MMIC mounted in a die cast box with extended filtering on the DC input. This is built and tuned for a flat bandpass before the notch.
