Wednesday, November 9, 2016. We are past the first marking quarter. Parent Conferences are behind us and we are moving on to the holiday season. In math, we are learning how to make and sort groups of numbers. We have reviewed addition and subtraction and continue to use our problem solving skills. In science, we are learning about the solar system and have completed studies on the earth and sun. In the next few weeks we will be learning about the moon, planets and other celestial bodies.

Friday, January 6, 2017. WEEK OF JANUARY 3 - 6, 2017. Abigail and Logan, thanks for making the event run smoothly. I truly appreciate all the gifts that I received the week before vacation. Thanks so much! The book report genre for the month of January is mystery.

Monday, January 9, 2017. January is here, with eyes that keenly glow,. Striding a shadowy steed of snow. Our spelling rule this week involves words with long i. Sound Students will have a spelling assignment on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. We began our One School One Book read aloud today. All students and teachers at LSS will have the opportunity to read Wish. Have a wonderful week! I hop.

Sunday, September 4, 2016. And thinks of his youth. Wednesday, January 27, 2016. We did a practice run for SBAC and the infrastructure held up nicely using the SBAC secure browser. The bandwidth was able to support a full grade level taking the test at once. Students were introduced to coding.
