Monterey Peninsula, Fresno, San Francisco. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Great end to a Wonderful Week. Enjoyed a wonderful evening with Michele Hennessey. Dinner was light and shared,with lots of good conversation. Peruvian food was new to us and La Bicheria. Is a unique culinary experience. Friday, September 9, 2011. Badlands National Park - St. Until we arrived at the gate shortly before ten this morning. September is a wonderful time, because the weather is warm but the tourists are fare less numerous, and we enjoyed a lovely ride through the park, exiting the car to take pictures and enjoy the fresh morning air.
Friday, March 23, 2012. In Madeira Beach and came home around mid-afternoon. I packed my bag and went for a last swim. This evening we had dinner at the famous Don Cesar. Late this morning, we visited Suncoast Bird Sanctuary. The birds cackled and crowed as we walked through the very modest entrance.
Ixtapa - March 15-22, 2009. Winter vacation in Mexico, our first visit to Ixtapa. Saturday, March 21, 2009. Another scorcher of an afternoon, spent lazily in the pool. It was late afternoon by the time I showered before an early dinner. Bob used his binoculars almost sthe entire time, so he got a good view of at least one of the whales. It was a very moving and exciting end to our week in Ixtapa. There are certainly plenty of native Spanish sp.
Week in Punta Cana to celebrate the marriage of Harry Marshall and Laura Nguyen. Sunday, January 10, 2010. On the plane at last! We watched some of the professional picture taking from our balcony, and I wondered how the ladies in the wedding party were navigating the slippery tiles and, even worse, the sand on the beach. It seems that my concerns were groundless, however, as no one so much as chipped one of their perfectly manicured nails.
Our First Florida Gulf Coast Vacation. Friday, March 18, 2011. Last Day in St Pete Beach. This week, we have usually enjoyed breakfast in our room - fruit, cereal, rolls. Today we went out to The Hurricane. Where we ate outside, only a few feet from the gulf. After our meal, we revisited the area near the Skyway Bridge, hoping to see a few more dolphins and enjoy the morning sunshine.

Saturday, March 23, 2013. Had to empty a glass or so of a bottle of merlot down the drain. Good fishing at the boat ramp for this osprey and mate.
A journey from winter through spring, to early summer in St. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Trouble hit at mile marker 192 in Georgia. Traffic slowed to a crawl and it took us several hours to travel about 40 miles. We were perhaps 40 miles from Atlanta and were told the problem was due to road construction in the northbound lanes of I75. Saturday, March 28, 2015.
